What is Baby Loves Disco? What are the details? Is there a structure to the event? (top)
Baby Loves Disco is a family event, there is no structure, just plenty of environment, atmosphere and snacks. There is music spun by the DJ with bubbles floating over the dance floor- to get the mamas, papas and little ones moving. There are
shakers, play scarves and a chill-out space with beanbags, magician,, toys, and face painter. There are balloons to enjoy and take home as well as the snacks and non-alcoholic beverages for both kids and adults
There are also surprises like goody bags for each child and dance competitions every hour with fantastic prizes. We work with local mommy groups, sponsors and businesses .. so if you have something to share or suggest, please let us know at
info@babylovesdisco.ae

We created Baby Loves Disco for kids 6 months through 7 years and their friends and family.. older/younger siblings, grandparents, nanny and best friend are all invited.... But, ultimately, you must be this judge: For supervision reasons we request a maximum of two children per adult and older siblings must be supervised as well.

All walking humans will each need their own ticket, both adults and children. Only infants who are not yet walking are free. Information on ticket sales is on the home section of the website
Do you sell group tickets? Do you have discounts or group specials? (top)
We do not currently offer a direct ticket discount for groups or otherwise, If you are a large group over 25 please contact info@babylovesdisco.ae and we will see how we can assist you.
Do we need to come with a kid? (top)
Yes no Kid no entry
What time do I need to come? Do we have to show-up at the beginning of the event? (top)
The event is three hours. This is to allow for the various nap times, lunch times and other afternoon activities. 1 1/2 hours is plenty for everyone (thought we do have some die hards that hang-out for all 3 hours)... Come when you can, anytime during the event, you may come and go, even... The door person will be there throughout the whole 3 hours so you should come when its best for you and your family.
What if My Husband Is Afraid To Dance In Public? (top)
Ah, well, this is the perfect time to face his fear – there will be plenty of little kids that will think he’s the best dancer in the world.
HOW OLD ARE THE "BABIES" at BABY LOVES DISCO (top)
baby loves disco is specifically for children 6 months to 7 years of age. older siblings are always welcome but please respect that our event is structured for parents and young kids to have a hip and fun time together.
for a break from the routine playground circuit let loose for some post naptime, pre-dinner fun. Make no mistake, this is NOT the Mickey Mouse club, and Barney is Banned. Baby loves disco is an afternoon dance party featuring real music spun and mixed by real djs blending classic disco tunes From the 70s, & 80s guaranteed to get those little booties moving and grooving.
The fun spills out from all corners of the club: bubble machines, baskets of scarves and egg-shakers, a chill-out room (with tents, books and puzzles), diaper changing stations, a full spread of snacks and dancing, LOTS of dancing. But at it’s core, Baby loves disco is a community event that brings kids together with kids and parents together with parents. Started by professional dancer (and professional mom) Heather Murphy, the idea was to create an alternative to the pre-packaged world of entertainment for young kids. “We’re parents, we’re always looking for something new and different to do with the kids,” says Murphy whose lifestyle (like most of the baby disco parents) was changed when she gave birth to her 4 year old son Max.
The monthly event, which started in Philly where it has sold out club Fluid since inception, caught the ear of Brooklyn-based music guy Andy Hurwitz who brought the party up to New York City in the fall of 2005: “my kids had a blast, but the real bonus was that my wife and I had a great time too,” said Hurwitz, founder of ropeadope records and father of three young boys. He added, “It’s more than just something to do for the kids, Baby Loves Disco is fun for parents, we get the chance to mingle with other parents, dance with our kids and have a fantastic Saturday afternoon to boot.”
Today, this entirely parent-run network of local moms and dads hosts sell out events in 26 states of America, across the UK, Japan, Norway, Sweden, Hong Kong to name a few! For more writings on Baby Loves Disco including press, videos and other features, check out our press section.
