the earth day celebration 2009 was in full bloom in the south bay on april 5th as little sprouts danced and played the afternoon away with their mamas & poppas. we gave away packets of marigold seeds for families to plant and brighten mama earth. catch a glimpse of this of this groovy 'earth play' event thru the lens of auey santos and her photograffiti team. every day is earth day... laugh, grow, and play!

juguemos en español is a fun new way to learn the spanish language with a different theme each and every week! bring mommy, daddy or nana along and come have some fun with a live puppet show, books, fun games, music instruments, sing-a-longs, colors, shapes, numbers, and so much more—all in español! my 2-year-old absolutely loved her first trial class (and is usually not the “circle time” type ), she found the puppet show very amusing and was engaged the entire time! i was so impressed with how well she and the other kiddos were able to pronounce words like “refrigerador,” “tijeras,” and “galleta.” also, a few kiddos were able to read in spanish too! i belive this particular class ranges from 2 to 7 years. we are definitely looking forward to next week’s class! and hope to see you there too! first class is always free, click here!
