The 4th Annual Race for CARRA will be sprinting in Portland on June 7th  along the Eastbank Esplanade and around the Oregon Convention Center.  It is a family friendly 5k run/walk benefitting the Childhood Arthritis & Rheumatology Research Alliance (CARRA).  JDM is a rare rheumatic disease that attacks muscles and skin causing significant pain and weakness.  Come have some fun, exercise and raise money for a good cause.  For more info go here: www.raceforcarra.com.

Our pal Elizabeth is helping babies communicate before they can talk using the World's leading Sign Language Program for hearing babies. Offering Play Classes, Workshops and Training for parents, babies and Early Childhood Educators. Reduced tantrums and learning to talk sooner are just a couple of the amazing benefits babies and parents get from learning Baby Sign Language before a baby learns to speak. Helping to potty train before the age of two is another great benefit of this program! I'm a mother of three and I'm doing what I love! I get to share one of the greatest feelings as a parent, a window into the life of your child, with parents all over Oregon!  Babies have so much to say before they learn to speak and I can't think of any better job than helping them share that with you.

I had no idea what he was talking about until his older brother took a guess: “he’s talking about Washington park daddy”.
