Relay for Life is an event near and dear to Julie's heart. As a skin cancer survivor, it is a priority to her to educate others about the importance of sun safety, especially for our children. Unfortunately, many of us, through our family and friends, have been touched by cancer. You can help support the American Cancer Society by donating to Julie's homepage. Edible Arrangements is the second best thing to happen to kids parties (of course bld is first!). Healthy and yummy fruit shaped into your kids favorite characters, Edible Arrangements creates delicious fruit designs filled with strawberries, pineapple, grapes, oranges, cantaloupe, honeydew, bananas and pears. Various design baskets will be featured (and eaten!) at our March party as will prizes featuring free arrangements for you to bring home.

Julie and Robyn met nine years ago in birthing class and together united to bring bld to detroit. Robyn is the proud mother of Sophie and Emma and wife to Jeff , she also In addition to running a busy household, Robyn teaches dance (jazz and tap) at Gotta Dance in West Bloomfield. Julie is an attorney, a dancer, and proud mother to three girls, Rachel, Stacey, and Melanie, and wife to Ron. Julie read about Baby Loves Disco in a parenting magazine, called Robyn, and the rest is history. Baby Loves Disco Detroit allows Robyn and Julie to combine their love for dancing with their love for children.
Brett Mountain is a local photographer with a background in photojournalism which allows him to photograph events and personalities with an eye towards storytelling and we are excited to have him as the official photographer of Baby Loves Disco Detroit. Brett will be taking candid photos at the parties, which can be viewed and purchased online. Say cheese! and stay tuned.
